Allyson Felix

Allyson Melissa Felix was birthed at Los Angeles, California on the 18th of November, 1985. Paul Felix, the father of Allyson Michelle Felix, is a minister ordained at Master's Seminary Sun Valley. Marlean Felix works as a elementary school teacher at Balboa Magnet. Felix was a natural athlete and developed a passion of sprinting while in the sprints at Los Angeles Baptist High School. She came second at the U.S. Indoor Track and Field Championships in only 10 weeks after her first attempt. Felix signed a contract for a career in professional sports with Adidas in 2003. She later enrolled in University of Southern California to learn about elementary education. Felix received her first Olympic medal at the 2004's Summer Olympics In Athens Greece. Felix ran 200m in 22.18s, setting an all-time junior world record. In 2005, the Helsinki World Championships saw her become the shortest woman ever to be crowned the winner of the 200-meter race. In 2007, she won the title by beating her Jamaican opponent Veronica Campbell. Felix always placed in the top 3 in her various competitions in the Olympics held during Beijing London Rio de Janeiro Tokyo.
