Aisha Jamila is an American actress, best recognized for her appearances on the TV shows The Shield and True Blood. Since her introduction in 2003 she has proved her range as an actress through amazing performances on TV shows like 9-1-1 Detroit 1-8-7 and Under the Dome. Her character on Assault on Precinct 13 from 2005 was her first performance to grab her attention. However it was her performance as feminist activist Fannie Lou Hamer in the biographical film All the Way that finally gave her acclaim as an actress. Hind was also acknowledged for her performance as Harriet Tubman in WGN America's period drama series Underground. She currently stars on the procedural drama series 9-1-1 in the leading role of firefighter/paramedic Henrietta Hen Wilson. 20th Century Fox Television has renewed the series for a third season. In the last few days, Hind has wrapped filming for his Hollywood film Godzilla: King of the Monsters that is set for a release in mid-2019. Abhishek Bachchan was a regular actor as well as the son of Bollywood icon Amitabh Bachchan. In April 2007 she got married to the actor. The marriage united two formidable Indian celebrities.
